Great Wall, Etc.

What a hot and exhausting day! SC weather and a climb on the Great Wall...not a great combination. The view was spectacular! The climb was dizzying (for me) and horrendously difficult for Chris as he carried Tian a large part of the way. The way was crowded with tourists gripping handrails and many were gasping for a breath (including us). Women covered themselves with umbrellas despite the narrow climbs.  We gave it our best effort just to preserve American pride. I did not include many after-shots of Chris. Fortunately, he did not forget his deodorant, unlike many of the travelers!   We were treated like movie stars a couple of times as foreigners wanted to take pictures with us. Weird to say the least.   More tomorrow!
